Hi it's me, it has been a busy summer & I have neglected my journal.

Lets see...I have joined "SEA" Simply Enchanting Angels & also Ladies Heart N
Soul. Since last time here I guess I joined "Country Blessings" & "PPFF" also.

We have had a beautiful vegtable garden this year, & we have been doing LOTS of
canning & freezing.
Green Beans, Beets, Pickled Beets, Salsa, Chili Sauce, Bread & Butter Pickles etc...ect...

Our 2 grandsons were with us for 2 weeks...WOW...I am old!!
I just can't handle a 9 & a 10 year old 24-7's let alone 48-7's.

Joshua & Lucas are back to U of M. It sure seems different with them gone.

Josh & Anna went out to "Yellowstone" for a couple weeks before heading to Ann Arbor & school.

They are planning a June wedding 2004.

I wish I wasn't so dumb, I'd like to figure out how to transfer this to my Bravehost Website.
It sure would be easier for me, I'd probably write more often...LOL.

Well I guess I shall end here...wishing everyone a great week ahead. GBY all.

Well it's me 17 days later....Oh well.
I have been very busy I have joinedWOSIB.

I'm in the Beginners Creators Garden.

I've joined the Garden of Frienships...TNT. (Tubes N Tuts),

I've also joined PSPUG.

I have not been active there yet.

With Darylynn's HW, GOF, WOSIB, PSP 201, I have been overwhelmed.

I got my PSP 101 certificate...yes!!

My grandsons...Travis & David are coming to spend a week each.

I don't know if Gramma can keep up with them.

I finally heard from my friend Linda, I was so pleased.

I hope she is feeling better soon.

I have not heard from my friend Patricia.

I hope she is having a great time home here in the states.

I've yet to buy my pansies for the summer & it will be too late if I don't get it done.

But my flowers(perrenials) are beautiful this year.

The deer did not get my Tulips this year,
But we had to put an ugly rope with
plastic bags around the whole perimeter.

Well I need to do my HW for PSP 201, so I'll close here.

Hopefully I can get caught up,

and be back again SOONER...LOL!!!

Hi everyone, Well just like clockwork I'm back 10 days later.
I am just so involved in sooo many things right now.
I've joined a great group "Garden Of Friendship".
It sounds really fun. I'll have to learn the ropes first.
I joined the Welcoming Committee.

I have been messing around with PSP7, I've made a few things with TUBES, wonderful tubes.

I am taking a class right now also, PSP 101.
Hopefully I can learn something. I would truly love to draw graphics.

I also opened my own "Tall Tails Adopt Shop".
I only have 2 so far but hope to be getting or making more.

I've included an area for temporary pictures on my "Tag Me" page. I've also added a "Tip" spot on my "Tall Tails" page.
I've also had a reply back on it & she said it worked great for her also.
Check it out.

I've changed my recipes for this month at "The Recipe Box" .

I have been working in my flower beds & taking some pictures to display.

I've been out blog hopping, checking out everyone's homework for Darylynn's HW.

Hi everyone, first I'd like to wish everyone a Happy & Safe Memorial Day weekend.
Me myself & I will be spending it alone, Ernie, Lucas
& two of my brother in-laws went to Canada fishing.

Josh is still in Italy, I've only heard from him twice since he left
& recieved one email. He's been to Rome & Florence & several other places.
I'm sur he will have lots & lots of great pictures.

Well I just started my science project plant, from seed, I have faith.
I've been wanting to plant some for a few years we used to have some & still do but they are
all intwined in my flowers. (a mess)
I'll have to find a permanent home for them of thier own.
It's a Mystery.

Well I am a big country music fan...& particularly "George Strait".
It was just great seeing him get the award for thee most #1 hits.
And oh so appropriate that they had Alan Jackson give him the award.
George is most definitely one handsome man.
My husband is always teasing me about him...calling him the old man.
Recently he found out that George is younger than him...LOL!!!

Our daughter is moving again, she will be a little closer this time, but still 3 hours away.
My grandsons Travis & David are suppose to each spend a week this summer with us.
I'm looking forward to it, but we may have them both together instead...I'll be calling on Calgon, I'm sure.
I'm not used to that anymore, I love them dearly
but don't know how fun Gramma will be.
They are so sweet & on Spring break they came to visit a couple days.
Travis told me I was the best Gramma in the whole world.
That made my day, he even took his hands & used them
as a balance & showed me that I was way up there as high as he could reach, as far as Grammas go.
Everyone needs to hear things like that once in awhile. =0)

And he is my little sweetheart.

Well I don't write often but when I do I don't quit rattling on. So until the next mysterious visit, have a good weekend. GBY

Well I'm back...I'm just so darned hooked on getting things put up on my pages that I don't get the time to get in here.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Ernie & Lucas went picking Morel Mushrooms yesterday. With 3 other guys & they shared their
bounty & bounty they had. They came home with 23 pounds of Morels. So their share was about 9 1/2 lbs.
They are gone again today. I'm going to post pictures if they are any good here with a link. I can't upload pictures here.
I use the freebe.

I've been out pulling weeds in my flower beds today. I dug up a pink bleeding heart (baby) last Wedesday & gave it to a friend. I have sooo many new little sprouts popping up everywhere. So I share in my fortune. I have the white & the pink old fashioned & the white & the pink Fern leaf type.

Ernie ordered his Garden seeds from "Gurneys Catalog" & he ordered me 3 pkg. of Bunny Tail seeds. I just LOVE them, they are so sweet, too bad they are only an annual for me. I love to dry them & put them in a small vase. CUTE just CUTE!!! One year I did have a couple that came up in the spring/summer, they must have went to seed & the conditions were favorable for them.

I bought a couple new perrenials the other day...I cannot go in a greenhouse this time of year & not buy perrenials. I bought a flat of Lobelia also, I truly love that too. I just love everything. =0)

We have had our HummingBird feeders up for over a week now...lots of business there. No Orials yet, I hope they come, I love watching them...they are gorgeous. We feed the birds & squirrels year round.

I have been trying to learn to use that PSP7 but I'm really not getting it. TIME...TIME, yes I know!!

Well I should go see about putting up the Morel mushroom pictures.

Hello World,

I'm back can you imagine that?! I went to my doc. appt. today at 11:00am & found out
after Ernie dropped me off, for an hour...that the appt. is Friday. HA HA
Oh well I did some visiting, I have several friends there.
The reason I messed up is I usually have Wed. at 4 pm
but she had to change it & I was thinking it was just the time not the day too.
Oh well, I better get my ---- together.
I blame these kind of things on my stroke...I never did things like that before.
Well I finally heard from Linda Mayes yesterday, so I know she is ok.
But not really feeling great. I wish you well..Linda.
Went to the Market & got a few groceries, Ernie dropped me off & went to get his haircut.
Well I waited & waited for him, I put all the frozen stuff back.
I went out & walked to the end of the parking lot
& I could see him standing in the parking lot gabbing with someone.
I was just a LITTLE perturbed,
it was down the road & across the highway so I was not checking
out & pushing the cart all the way over there.
Men...somedays!!! Well I guess I'll go & get something done.

Hello Everyone (Patricia),

I guess no-one should put me down as a daily read, I just get in here when I can.
I've got way too many things going on, on & off the PC.

Well I have a great new friend on line, anyone in Darylynn's HW class
should know her...Patricia. She is really a great friend & most importantly a good person.

I was out surfing & not tending to things I should have been,
Ernie will really vouch for that.
Anyhow I found one of the greatest sites...well actually several.
But one in particular Welcome to Vicki's Place.
Nope not mine, & I couldn't do anything as nice as that.

Mother's day Ernie & Lucas got me a truck load of Mulch for the walkways between my 10 Rockbeds.
That is what I asked for.
They shoveled it all out nice & neat. I just love my flowers.
I make 10 trips out there every day to see what new is popping through the ground.
Then Luke, Ernie, My Mom, My Sister Cindi & I went out to eat. Great food, I had fresh water Perch.
I haven't had them in years & I love them.

Then of course we watched Survivor...I was pleased with the end.
I would not have said that a few weeks ago, but the way it played out, I have to say...YES!!!!

Joshua called from Italy on Mom's Day, said he had been in Venace all week.
I guess he is enjoying himself.
He reminds me so much of my older brother...Randy.
Who passed away in 1992 at the age of 45.
His pancrease shut down, he had diabetes very, very bad.

My Mom has it now & she is suppose to take pills for it,
but I don't think she does.
Her house is the Sweet Shoppe.
What can I do?! She's almost 79 years old, I guess if she wants to eat it she can.
I don't like being mean & I know it really isn't, but she perceives it that way. So I give up.

It seems to be going a little faster but one of my speakers
are screeching when I turn it up.????
She also installed Paint Pro 7, what a foreign looking object.

Hey there...it's a gorgeous day here in Michigan. I have been out blog hopping checking out lots of Darylynn's HW students, HW.
This is really kinda fun. I do feel old though...they are all youngin's & I'm older than the hills. My pc is having PMS, it needs a doctor, so it takes me 3 times longer to open your pages. I have more memory but just haven't added it. I don't feel good about me getting inside there. I have had as of right now 12 vistors at my site & some very nice compliments...Thank you all. I myself have visited 22 sites. 26 but I could not find 2 of thems HW, one I don't know why I couldn't get to anything, It was something new to me. It was Gina's site. Sorry. And then one did not have their HW posted yet. So now I need a nap. LOL. I'm wondering about Linda from Country & Cows, I have not heard from her in almost a week, I'm a little worried. She has not posted her HW yet either. I hope she is okay.
Well my son Joshua is in Italy now. He called shortly after arriving there. I hope he has a great time, & gets lots of pictures. He is a great photographer, he can do just about anything in Art. I will have to post some of his Moose pictures on my site.
My son Lucas got his Turkey yesterday, he was quite pleased with himself. He called it in himself & did it all alone, they usually do it in a buddy system. I will be posting my Twenty Questions here later, my first...it should be fun.

Well it's a gloomy day here today, I knew I should have worked in my flower beds yesterday. It looks like rain is coming.
Krissy has called already this morning to tell me about her night out with her husband, Mike. They went out to eat, went to a movie & then stopped for a couple drinks. The occassion: their wedding anniversary is Monday. She was so excited, she doesn't get to go out often...she has 4 kids. I'm glad she had a good time. They may be moving to Traverse City which would make them a whole lot closer, I hope in pans out.
Luke & Ernie are not back yet from turkey hunting, they camped over night there. I bet they froze their butts off. There was a very heavy frost this morning.
Talked with my Mom this morning, she will be 79 in July. She loves the casino...my father passed away in 2000, so she is lonely & bored. But at 78 years old & coming home after midnight... from the casino....I don't know.
I think I'm going to add a new page & idea to one of my Web Sites. What I'm thankful for: I got the idea from Sharon at Hutchinsons Cozy Cottage Creations. She has a graphic there you can put on your page if you so desire.
Just gotta keep adding more to that list of things to do. I'll never be in my flower beds working.

Well the sun shined in Michigan again today. My Crocus' are blooming & my Snowdrops are still blooming.
Ernie & Luke went Turkey hunting today...no luck. They love to call those Turkeys in & hear them gobble. I don't like
turkey season much at all. I hear them practicing on their turkey calls for days.
Getting real close to Josh going to Italy. I really don't like it....not the way this world is & how the French feel about us.
I think it is an honor that he was chosen but I'd rather he would have declined. I'm a Mother Hen what can I say. Their my babies. Six weeks is a long time.
I recieved a letter from my nephew Tim from Iraq/Kuwait today. He informed me that Marines do not like being called Soldiers.
I worked on my site today quite a bit. I was busy putting things on my Pictures page.Things that the grandkids would like.
I emailed them the address, I hope they like it. If anyone knows where I can get a blinky about video games or especially GameBoy,
or Barbie please let me know. Tag me at Tag Me. Thanks.
I didn't work in my flower beds today, it was so nice outside.I should have been out there. I think I better cut my umbilical cord from this Puter. LOL My husband thinks I'm totally crazy.

Well the sun was shining here in Michigan today...I should have been out working in my flower beds. But I wasn't. I was on this puter & not even doing my to do list either. I did do one thing on it...WOW!!! Wrote my nephew, Kye a letter. That was it for my list...so far, I just may get a burst of energy & do more.
Well my son Lucas is really not happy that I'm on here all the time, he wants to keep checking for his colledge grades & I say in a minute.

Hi...I hope everyone had a nice Easter. It's been awhile. I've been busy getting my pages set up & adding No Right Click to all my pages at my 4 Web Sites. Scchew...I'm glad that's done. I've also been doing a little blog & site hopping. I just can't tear myself away. All you talented ladies out there, I'm jealous...I want to be able to make graphics & have adoptables too. Oh well I like what I'm doing.
My Son Lucas, is home from Colledge for the Summer. My other Son Joshua, is off to Italy in the next week. He will be taking an Art Class for 6 weeks.
I added pictures of my kids & grandkids at my Hi5 site/Tall Tails
I got some new cute adoptables & graphics. I just love them. I got some from Heart Strings Graphics, Katharina's Graphics, Faith's Pixel Patch, Peach Street , Welcome to the Pickle Patch , 2 Paw Designs, Julie's Creations. Probably more than that I can't remember without looking.
I raked in my flower beds today for a little while. You see we live in a hardwoods & in the fall the Maples, Popalars & the Beech Trees here just bury my flower beds in leaves. Which is kinda nice but not so nice in the Spring.
In the Summer when there are lots of different kinds of flowers blooming, I make up these dainty bouquets in bottles that I save from Snapple drink (long kneck kind). Then I tie a Rafia bow on the kneck of the bottle & I make a small card with my rubber stamps & tie it on to the rafia bow. Then off I go delivering to friends, to my doctor & others there at the clinic. I have had lots of compliments & I see a few people saving their vases with the rafia. I just love doing things like that.
Sometime I'll tell you about the Christmas surprise I've did for 3 different families, 3 different xmas'. I had sooo much fun. No one understands why...but that's just me. I know I'm breaking my arm...LOL. I've met a very nice friend on the net, she has made several beautiful graphic gifts. Thanks Linda!! :0)

Well it's not a very nice day here in Michigan for the day before Easter.
I heard it is suppose to be worse tomorrow, I hope not. I've got to get some more
work done in my flower beds.
I'm planning on joing an internet group. Darylyn's
homework, it sounds like fun.
I'm trying to keep up 4 web sites, this blog & now I've joined that. Oh well
what is that saying buzy hands are happy hands.
We talked with Luke & Josh today. Josh called to ask once again how to make
Strawberry-Rhubarb pie. He never writes anything down. I guess he's making pie
for him, Anna, & his brother for Easter. The first attempt at making a pie...he
did not have a rolling pin, so he improvised...he used a Pringles can to
roll his pie crust. Well lots of work to get done, so I better close here.

Well I just received some new emails. One from my niece Amy with good news, her husband & my nephew Tim should be home from Iraq around the 1st of June. God has kept him safe so far & I pray he keeps him in his tender care. Got an email from my on-line friend...Linda. Sounds like she is having a blast with her niece spending some time with her. I have 4 web sites & it's hard to keep them up, & now I've started this...oh well, I love it. My son Joshua just won $1200.00 for one of his paintings in an Art Exhibit. He has loved art since he was just 2 years old. Collage will be out soon & both son's will be coming home for the summer. Lucas will be home this month & Joshua is suppose to be going to Italy for a 6 week art class. One of his Art professors chose him as one to go.
Daughter Kristina was here last week with the 4 grandkids. Travis, David, Kalista & Jordan. They were on spring break. The boys didn't want to leave. Well 'til the next time...which could be in 5 minutes or 5 days who knows. Hey Linda, Thanks, for the coaxing.

Hi, I'm Vicki. Being this is my first entry ( 2nd attempt ), I'll tell you a little about me.
I'm from Michigan, I'm 40 something. I love animals, cats # 1. I have 3 kids & 4 grandkids.
My husbands name is Ernie. I have 3 cats & 1 dog. I have 3 brothers ( 1 deceased ) & 4 sisters.
I love country everything...the country & I live in it, country decorating, crafts, music, George Strait being #1.
Hearts are one of my favorite things. I love creating things on my pc, I only wish I knew more. I love doing
things to make someone happy or their day a happy one, even if it's just a compliment. Well I guess that's enough
for now, I'm sure I'll tell more later as I go on. (& learn how to use this) Oh...I love my rock gardens & flowers & it's SPRING...YES!!!
